FAQs for Eco Battery
Which golf carts does Eco Battery fit?+
Eco Battery makes drop-in lithium packs for the major platforms — Club Car, EZGO, Yamaha, and newer brands like Evolution, ICON, Advanced EV, and Bintelli — in 36V, 48V, and 72V to match your cart's system. The right pack depends first on your cart's voltage (count your batteries or check your model and year), then on the battery tray space and terminal layout. Tell us your make, model, and year at 678-331-7404 and we'll match the right pack.
What voltages does Eco Battery come in?+
Eco Battery offers 36V, 48V, and 72V lithium packs, so there's a match whether you have an older 36V cart, a modern 48V cart, or a high-voltage performance build. Your cart's voltage has to match the pack's voltage — a 48V pack is for a 48V cart, not a 36V one. If you're not sure what your cart runs, count the batteries (six 6V or three 12V = 36V; six 8V or four 12V = 48V) or give us your model and year.
Are Eco Battery packs LiFePO4, and do they have a BMS?+
Yes. Eco Battery packs use lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) — the stable, long-cycle chemistry the golf-cart industry standardizes on — and every pack includes a built-in battery management system (BMS) that guards against over-charge, over-discharge, and temperature extremes. Exact BMS ratings vary by model, so check the product page if you're running a high-amp controller.
What comes in an Eco Battery bundle, and is a charger included?+
Your Eco Battery bundle includes a matching lithium charger, along with the right plug for your cart. Beyond that, kit contents vary by listing (hold-down hardware, cables, and the CAN LCD charge meter differ by kit), so check the product page for exactly what's in the box. Call 678-331-7404 and we'll make sure your kit is complete.
What case styles (form factors) does Eco Battery come in?+
Eco Battery offers more than one case style so the pack fits your battery bay — including thru-hole packs (with a channel for the factory hold-down) and slimmer "skinny" packs for tighter trays. The right form factor depends on your cart's battery compartment, so measure your bay or match by your cart and we'll steer you to the case that fits.
How does Eco Battery compare to my old lead-acid batteries?+
The lithium advantages apply: an Eco Battery pack is far lighter than a lead-acid set, holds voltage steadily so the cart feels strong down to a low charge, needs no watering or maintenance, and lasts many more charge cycles. The trade-off is a higher up-front cost. For a cart you plan to keep and use regularly, it's the single biggest performance-and-convenience upgrade you can make.
